Indirect Tax Collection

Indirect Tax

Indirect tax is a type of tax that is imposed on goods and services rather than on individuals or companies directly. The taxes often embed in the price of goods and services and typically collect by the supplier or seller of the goods or services on behalf of the government. Examples of the tax include GST, sales and value-added tax (VAT), excise tax, and customs duties. These taxes often pass on to the end consumer as part of the final price of the goods or services. This taxes are different from direct taxes.  Which are taxes that levy directly on individuals or companies, such as income tax or property tax.
