This registration ensures that manufacturers and sellers take responsibility for managing and disposing of the plastic waste generated by their products.

To complete the EPR registration process, follow these steps:
Identify the products that require EPR registration.
Appoint an EPR Authorized Representative (EAR) who will be responsible for implementing the EPR plan.
Prepare an EPR plan that outlines how the collection, segregation, transportation, and disposal of plastic waste from the products will be managed.
Submit the EPR plan to the State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) or Pollution Control Committee (PCC) of the respective state.
Pay the EPR registration fees specified by the concerned SPCB or PCC.
Upon successful registration, you will receive an EPR authorization certificate that is valid for three years.
It’s crucial to note that failure to register for EPR can lead to penalties and fines. Additionally, non-compliance with the EPR plan can result in the cancellation of the EPR authorization certificate.
